Imports through May 31 totaled 191.2 million kilograms, 2.1 percent below the 195.3 million kilos sent in the first five months of last year. The 2009 shipments were valued at $1.31 billion (€940.6 million), 4.4 percent lower than the $1.37 billion (€983.8 million) reported last year.
