The consortium of processors ths week appealed the decision by the U.S. Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration to lower antidumping duties on frozen warmwater shrimp from India, saying the methodology used to determine the lower rates is flawed.

The Ad Hoc Shrimp Trade Action Committee filed its complaint in the U.S. Court of International Trade on Wednesday.

"Yes, there was an appeal made by the Ad Hoc Shrimp Trade Action Committe to Commerce's final decision in the third administrative review of antidumping duty order on shrimp from India," Deborah Long of the Southern Shrimp Alliance (SSA), which controls the committee, told IntraFish on Friday.
