U.S. salmon imports through May were 96.6 million kilograms, a 6.4 percent drop from the 103.2 million kilos brought into the country through the first five months of 2009, but the value of the 2010 imports is $736.5 million (€572.1 million), 4.3 percent higher than the $697.1 million (€541.5 million) taken in during the year-earlier period.
