With the new Alaska salmon season looming, European processors are bracing themselves for another turbulent year.
While forecasts for chum and pink are good, sockeye and coho are going to see lower supplies this year -- and processors are looking ahead to a very different season from those the sector has seen in the past 10 years, one French importer told IntraFish.
