Chuck Bundrant, chairman of Trident, stated that NorQuest will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary.
“Adding the well-known NorQuest, Portlock and Silver Lining salmon brands, Copper River salmon, and an extensive line of other value-added products will further Trident’s effort to expand our product line and increase the value of Alaska’s fishery resources,” said Bundrant.
Trident is a privately-held company and does not report it sales, but estimates put the company's annual revenue in the $600 million range.
Norquest recorded annual revenues of $100 million in 2002, according to an article in the April 2003 issue of IntraFish Newspaper.
