The release of the public comment draft report for the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) re-assessment of Alaska salmon is falling further behind schedule, according to the timeline published on the MSC website.

The draft report was scheduled for release April 30, according to Intertek Moody Marine, which is carrying out the certification. The draft report was originally due out Feb. 1, but was pushed back to Feb. 20, before the April 30 timeline revision.

The report is currently going through the peer review process, Paul Knapman, general manager of Intertek Moody Marine, told IntraFish Wednesday.
