Chilean salmon farming and fishing firm Camanchaca on Thursday reported it detected the presence of the Infectious Salmon Anemia (ISA) virus in three cages in the Isaza Center in the Aysen region, El Diario Financiero reported.

The findings came following laboratory analysis ordered by Chilean fisheries and aquaculture agency Sernapesca, as part of its monitoring and control of the disease.

The farm is in the Aysen region, the area where the virus was first detected in cages at Los Fiordos in early April.
