Years of fraud from the former Pan Fish, M&J Seafood and Ocean Trawlers employee finally caught up with him when he was sentenced to three years and three months in prison for false accounting and theft on March 9.
The fraud took place between August 2007 and February 2008, while he was a branch manager of U.K. foodservice giant M&J Seafood, according to London’s Metropolitan Police. Ramus netted £400,000 (€445,000/$587,000) from the scam.
