Marco Polo Foods is targeting output of one million sushi per day; a 100-percent increase on current production levels.
Current output from its French factory is 500,000 pieces of sushi per day, but the plant has capacity to double this output, Marketing Director Guilhem du Repaire told IntraFish.
“Our capacity is one million sushi [pieces] per day. Of course, we are always thinking of increasing production at the factory, so we would like to double production,” he said.
