One of the most lauded land-based aquaculture companies may get a new lease on life if a pending deal to acquire the group comes through.
Canadian property developer Upcountry Properties Group, which owns and operates trout farming and hatchery company Miracle Springs, has signed a letter of intent to acquire struggling land-based farmed coho producer SweetSpring, and the deal could be finalized as soon as late next month, sources close to the negotiation told IntraFish.
