A new day is dawning at Sunnyvale Seafood Company, the California-based division of Chinese aquaculture group Guolian Aquatic.

“Sunnyvale is morphing -- with our coming in -- into being the sales arm for Goulian,” Jeff Sedacca, President of Sunnyvale, told IntraFish.

Last year, Sedacca left his position as a senior shrimp procurement executive at National Fish and Seafood (NFS) to join Sunnyvale, and he brought his team with him, a move that is helping Sunnyvale transition from an importer and trader to a full-blown, sales, marketing and distribution arm for Guolian.
