The share issue implemented for Norwegian halibut producer Nordic Seafarms generated the company NOK 60 million (€7.4 million/$10.1 million) in new capital and was over-subscribed by more than 50 percent.

“I don’t have the exact figures yet, but subscriptions totaled between NOK 92 million (€11.3 million/$15.5 million) and NOK 93 million (€11.4 million/$15.7 million). The ceiling was set at NOK 60 million (€7.4 million/$10.1 million), so we’re delighted,” Nordic Seafarms Managing Director Inge Midtbo told IntraFish.

He said all the biggest shareholders subscribed for their portion of the share issue or more.
