Norwegian industrial group Steinsvik acquired aquaculture solutions firm Ocea Gruppen for NOK 50 million (€5.6 million/$6.5 million) in cash and assumption of net interest-bearing debt of NOK 65 million (€7.3 million/$8.5 million) in the group, according to meeting documents seen by IntraFish.
The deal puts the value of the entire company at NOK 115 million (€13 million/$15 million).
Several industrial and financial players in Norway and internationally were invited to participate in the process, after which the board of directors received five indicative bids for the company.
