Coastal states talks in Bergen last week to try to resolve the long-ongoing mackerel dispute failed to bring an agreement on the long-running mackerel dispute, but they are reconvened in London on Wednesday, Jan. 22, for what is considered a last attempt to reach a resolution.
Industry sources expressed hopes a deal may be reached this week but after four years of failed talks, entrenched positions and the international complications of the situation, no-one was predicting success.
