According to numbers from the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Fisheries Statistics and Economics Division, the U.S. imported $334 million (€254.6 million) in shrimp, or 49 million kilos, in January, compared to $323 million (€246 million), or 47 million kilos, in January 2006.
