Spanish canner Grupo Calvo has become the latest member of the International Pole & Line Foundation (IPNLF).
Calvo has six multi-product canning plants and manufacturing facilities in three countries and through its different brands -- which include Calvo, Nostromo and Gomes da Costa -- the group offers a portfolio comprising more than 700 products in around 70 countries.
Grupo Calvo is the 32nd member of IPNLF.
Through its own tuna fishing sustainability policy, the group has developed practices and long-term measures aimed at ensuring the consistent sustainability of tuna fisheries in both environmental and economic terms.
