The Spanish National Association of Canned Seafood Producers (Anfaco - Cecopesca) and the Portuguese Association of Industrial Fish Canned Products (ANICP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to boost the competitiveness of the canned seafood sector.
Both organizations aim to achieve a correct management of the sector in order to minimize the negative effects the global market can play for the industries of Spain and Portugal.
With this initiative, both bodies aim to help companies in the Iberian Peninsula to develop their activity in the European Union, and to continue their role as leaders in the canned seafood industry.
