Tunacor Fisheries Limited in Walvis Bay is the first fishing company in Namibia to be wholly owned by Namibian interests after Pescapuerta, which owned 49 percent of shares in the company, divested its stake to Namibian company Kaume Group.
The remaining 51 percent of the shares in the company are owned by the Tunacor Group (25 percent) and Beluga Fishing (26 percent), reported the National News Agency of Malaysia.
