Euskadi Alai, the new freezer vessel from Astilleros Zamakona – belonging to Zamakona Yards group -- was delivered to the Bermeo Group Echebastar on Saturday after its blessing in the cruise dock of Getxo, Port of Bilbao.
The act was chaired by Kepa Echevarria, deputy director of the Echebastar group, and Pedro Garaygordobil, president at Zamakona Yards.
The new vessel will join its two brothers Izaro and Jai Alai to perform fishing tasks in the Indian Ocean. It features a aluminum superstructure and bridge, ultra freezing tunnels at minus 60 degrees Celsius, and antipiracy safe areas.
