Inlet, which sells 9,500 metric tons of frozen seafood into Spanish and Italian markets and has an annual turnover of €27 million ($41 million), has cold storage capacity of 5,000 pallets at its new wholly owned site, compared to its current capacity of 1,600 pallets at a rented site.

The idea behind the expansion is to allow the company to store a wide range of products to be able to supply mixed batches of fish and cephalopods to foodservice customers in Spain, Portugal and Italy.
