Austevoll Melaka, which also operates cargo and terminal services for maritime transport through Melingen Shipping and Austevoll Terminalen, increased earnings to NOK 120 million (€13.3 million/$14.6 million) last year from NOK 84.8 million (€9.4 million/$10.3 million) in 2013.
Operating profit amounted to NOK 35 million (€3.9 million/$4.3 million), up from NOK 14.2 million (€1.6 million/$1.7 million) the previous year, providing an operating profit margin last year of 29.2 percent.
“Headway in the result is due to intensified production, good biological development and higher selling prices," the board of directors wrote in its annual report.
