Officials for the Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G) say the 2014 salmon runs in Copper River and Prince William Sound could be some of the best the area has seen in the past few years.
In a report released Thursday from Prince William Sound research biologists Steve Moffitt and Rich Brenner, the Commercial Common Property (CCP) for all five species of salmon was estimated at 5.25 million fish.
