The deal, for $2.7 million (€1.9 million), was announced Thursday following a bidding war with Captain Blue, a seafood firm owned by New Jersey-based Asian grocery chain H Mart.

Captain Blue was reportedly in talks with Arrow prior to Slavin entering the bidding process, but declined to raise their $2 million (€1.4 million) bid to beat out Slavin.

Under the terms, Slavin will acquire proprietary rights to Arrow Seafoods' lease at the Bronx-based Fulton Fish Market.
