The first phase of a saltwater tilapia farm is nearing completion as Aquasense CEO James Reilly closes in on two key deals.
Reilly told IntraFish the $3 million (€2.2 million) needed to build and operate the 20 meter floating cages off the coast of an island in Panama could be finalized soon with a single investor.
A second, separate deal is also in the works to join with a US distribution and processing company, which also has facilities in Panama, he said.
