Singapore-based food company RE&S wants to focus on growth in Southeast Asia and Russia, its senior marketing manager Winnie Loo told IntraFish.
The company, which runs Japanese restaurant chains, already has 30 restaurants and 10 retail outlets in Singapore alone. It has opened five restaurants in Malaysia and one other in Vietnam.
“Our growth is mainly focused on Singapore and Malaysia as our resources are concentrated here,” said Loo.
Another reason why the company is focusing on the Singapore market is because Japan is one of the most popular destinations for Singaporeans, who love to travel and eat.
