The Deutsches Netzwerk fur Wirtschaftsethik (DNWE) prize recognizes the long-term and sustainable business approach and socio-ecological commitment of Ristic AG.
Previous winners of the DNWE award include pharmaceutical firm Novartis, stationary company Faber-Castell and sportswear company Puma.
In 2002, Ristic AG initiated its fieldwork in Costa Rica developing standards for the sustainable catch of shrimps as well as offering support to upgrade the country’s shrimp farms to organic levels.
To achieve this, Ristic was involved in two public-private partnership projects and one long-term joint venture with the Universidad de San José in Costa Rica.
