Another antitrust lawsuit has been filed against the biggest US tuna producers, bringing the total count of these suits to 13.

Seven residents filed a class-action complaint on Friday alleging that Starkist, Bumble Bee, Thai Union-owned King Oscar and Thai Union's US division Tri-Union Seafoods, which sells Chicken of the Sea tuna, fixed tuna prices since January 2000.

Vermont resident Jennifer Nelson, Illinois resident Elizabeth Davis-Berg, Michigan resident Jessica Decker, Minnesota resident Laura Childs, Nevada resident Nancy Stiller, North Dakota resident Bonnie VanderLaan and Virginia resident Kristin Millican allege that the "defendants have conspired to raise, fix, stabilize or maintain prices as well as allocate customers and restrict capacity within the market for the sale" of tuna products.
