Both Cermaq and Pan Fish are considering taking the same course of action as Fjord, which last week said it planned to file a lawsuit to overturn the imposition of a minimum import price (MIP) on Norwegian salmon by the EU.
In addition to the salmon firms, the organization that represents the interests of salmon producers in Norway is considering a lawsuit against the EU on behalf of the entire Norwegian aquaculture industry.
If the European Union thinks it is fed up with the salmon case against Norway -- last week Norway said it would take the salmon trade actions to the World Trade Organization (WTO) -- it's about to get worse.
