Lineage Logistics, a warehousing and logistics companybacked by Bay Grove Capital, has acquired the assets of Seattle ColdStorage (SCS) and its facilities in the Port of Tacoma and Algona, Washington.
The move creates a network of Pacific Northwest cold storage facilities owned by Lineage that include Seafreeze and CityIce operations in Seattle.
The acquisition increases Lineage’s footprint to more than13 million square feet and 290 million cubic feet, which represents thesecond-largest refrigerated warehouse network globally based on data from theInternational Association of Refrigerated Warehouses (IARW).
