While Pescanova’s dire state of affairs, its imminent bankruptcy and the personal effect it will have on its almost 10,000 employees gives me no joy whatsoever, it does confirm a certain suspicion I’ve always had about the Spanish behemoth -- that its famed secrecy may well have been hiding some deeper, darker issues.
