The group on Saturday launched a Spain-specific seafood consumption card, the seventh European seafood consumption guide the group has launched in Europe.

WWF recruited Spanish celebrity chef Sergi Arola to help push the sustainable seafood message, and he served Marine Stewardship Council (MSC)-certified salmon, halibut and scallops, and sustainably caught Galician crab and octopus in downtown Barcelona.

The guide rates the main species currently sold on the Spanish market and, as a result, doesn't include MSC species, which largely are not present in the country.
