Organizers of the European Seafood Exposition (ESE) on Friday announced the finalists for the 2013 Seafood Prix d’Elite new products competition.

The winners will be unveiled at an awards ceremony on Apr. 23 at the ESE in Brussels.

Products compete for grand prizes for the best new retail product and best new foodservice product, and five special awards will be presented for originality, convenience, health and nutrition, retail packaging and seafood product line.

This year's 42 finalists are:

  • Pintxo Donostiarra from Angulas Aguinaga S.A.U.
  • Pintxos
