Fish oil is widely accepted as having physical health benefits such as in the fight against cardio-vascular disease, while separate studies have concluded that omega-3 fatty acids are also good for mental health.

The project, announced last week by NIFES’ Ingvil Eide Graff will study the effect of eating seafood on students, whose concentration levels will be measured before and after consumption.

Even before the first results of the project are announced, Eide Graff said she is sure about the about the postive effect on mental health.
