The 42 finalists for the 2016 Seafood Excellence Global awards were announced Wednesday, and they hail from 15 countries around the world.

The finalists will be narrowed down to two grand prizes -- Best Retail Product and Best Hotel/Restaurant/Catering Product at Seafood Expo Global in Brussels.

The finalists include:

Crushi from Aji Food BV – Netherlands

Umami Bretagne from ALD – SLP – Britexa – France

Moules cuisinées from Angulas Aguinaga – Spain

Delpierre Filets preserved by high pressure pasteurization from Delpierre – France

Tuna Di Alba – Tuna Fillets in Sunflower Oil from Diavena, Ltd.
