Johnson, who has worked for 40 years in the seafood industry, has spent the better part of the last 10 years trying to help bridge the gap between the industry and the NGO community.
"...Almost everybody in the seafood industry, they looked at the NGOs, the conservation community, as the enemy, and I thought that was unfortunate," Johnson said about the state of the relationship between the two sides eight or nine years ago.
