The U.K. Sea Fish Industry Authority (Seafish) issued a statement responding to the recent analysis in the Journal of the Canadian Medical Association.
The journal article, entitled ‘Are dietary recommendations for the use of fish oils sustainable?’ questioned the wisdom of pushing fish as a healthy source of omega-3 when doubts remained over its actual health benefits for reducing heart disease.
