The 2011 financial year produced a negative result for Seaborn, but the salmon exporter rallied back last year and delivered a small profit despite a drop in revenue of NOK 300 million (€38.1 million/$49.2 million).

Sales for the Seaborn group in 2012 totaled NOK 1,683 (€213.7/$276).2 million, down from NOK 1,982 (€251.6/$325).9 million the previous year. Operating profit was turned around to NOK 16.2 million (€2.1 million/$2.7 million) in 2012 from minus NOK1.7 million in 2011.

The annual report states that sales volume totaled 53,281 metric tons of salmon and trout in 2012 and that the company has budgeted for an increase in 2013.
