The Scottish Salmon Company (SSC) saw an improved performance over the first six months of 2013 thanks to a buoyant sales market and “good biological performance of the salmon harvested.”

The company’s revenues for the second quarter of 2013 reached £23.7 million (€27.8 million/$36.8 million) -- up 35 percent from £17.5 million (€20.5 million/$27.2 million) in Q2 2012 -- on a harvest volume of 5,976 metric tons.
