ISA has long since faded into the background of Chile’s disease problems, but today’s industry is abuzz with questions about how to combat some old predators that entered the spotlight in Chilean’s salmon farming industry last year: salmon rickettsial syndrome (SRS) and caligus rogercresseyi (sea lice).

Bravo has been working on organizing Chile’s IV Congreso Nacional de Acuicultura (National Aquaculture Congress), which happens every two years.
