A tough Japanese market and a focus on restructuring made for a difficult yea r for fishing firm Sapmer.
The company reported slightly lower revenues of €91.6 million ($123.8 million) for the full year of 2013, down 1.6 percent from €93.1 million ($125.8 million) in 2012.
The fishing activity for the past year represented 80.7 percent of total revenues, an increase of 1 percent year-on-year, amounting to €73.9 million ($99.9 million).
"We were impacted by the currency effect of the yen on our lobster sales and the dollar exchange rate for our toothfish sales," the company said.
