Dave Harrison has been hired as vice president of Procurement at Santa Monica Seafood, the company said Monday.
Harrison will lead and manage the procurement department, and his duties will include employee development and training, supplier management, strategic purchasing, supplier negotiations and contracting, and inventory control.
He has held executive-level sourcing jobs for a number of multi-billion dollar corporations, the company said.
“Dave is no stranger to Santa Monica Seafood," said Roger O’Brien, CEO of Santa Monica. "He has most recently been a consultant with Alexander Proudfoot, a global consulting firm focused on efficiency and productivity improvements."
