Pittsburgh-based seafood foodservice distributor Samuels & Son Seafood  got the green light on Wednesday to construct a 25,000-square-foot building near the Pittsburgh International Airport.

The building has the option to expand on the 3.12-acre land and the sale price is $202,800 (€182,518), according to Observer-Reporter.

The long-running fishmonger supplies fresh, frozen and cooked seafood wholesale to restaurants. It offers wild and farmed fish in fresh whole or fillet forms, shellfish, scallops and more.

The company hopes to close by the end of August and start construction this summer or fall with a target completion date of late spring next year, said Dan Reitz, who sits on the Washington County Council on Economic Development.
