Salmonor Group’s revenue improved to NOK 430.7 million (€46.9 million/$52.9 million) last year from NOK 350.8 million (€38.2 million/$43.1 million) in 2013, while operating profit was down slightly to NOK 112.3 (€12.2/$13.8) in 2014 from NOK 113.2 (€12.3/$13.9) in 2013.
Last year’s profit margin therefore amounted to 26.1 percent, down from 32.3 percent the previous year.
"In 2014 we have delivered a result that’s in step with the market. The investment in a separate smolt facility in 2011 has improved the smolt situation as was expected,” the board wrote in its annual report, also mentioning that the company had tackled the lice situation well.
