The company is scheduled to make its debut on Santiago's stock market during the second week of July.
Multiexport Foods includes the following companies: Salmones Multiexport, which is engaged in salmon farming; Mytilus Multiexport, which farms mussels; and Cultivos Acuicolas Internacionales, which searches for opportunities to farm new species.
"We wanted to find a new standing, maintaining our 20 years of history and adding a modern and new meaning to our company,” said CEO Arturo Clement.
The motto of the new brand will be “producing food for mankind,” and the company’s “declaration of principles” defines Multiexport Foods as a “passionate company committed to innovation and the wellbeing of everybody.”
