A group calling itself "May 3 Autonomous Commando" claimed responsibility for the blast Monday on the first floor of the offices of SalmonChile and the Salmon Technology Institute (INTESAL).
The group says it because of anger over thousands of layoffs in the country's salmon industry. No one was injured, but fire resulting from the explosion damaged most of the structure.
Carlos Odebret, SalmonChile’s representative in Region 10, and soon to be new CEO of the trade group, will file the suit with the attorney Mauricio Cardenas, IntraFish was told.
