Last week (April 25- May 1), Norwegian salmon due to be delivered this week was selling at an average of NOK 41 (€5.2/$7.5)- NOK 42 (€5.3/$7.7) per kilo on the spot market.
Today, industry players told IntraFish that prices have fallen by around NOK 2 (€0.25/$0.36) per kilo for fish due to be delivered next week (May 9-May 16).
According to two exporters, prices are down to around NOK 39 (€4.9/$7.1) - NOK 40 (€5/$7.3) per kilo.
That represents a fall of around NOK 2 (€0.25/$0.36)
