Sources in the market say, according to Fish Pool’s weekly price report, the spot price is considerably down this week compared to the previous week. The fall was expected as the price has risen on increased volumes recently.
Forward prices are following suit with the spot price and moving downward. March is expected to offer a price of NOK 26 ($3.799/€2.962) per kilo, while the second quarter is anticipating a price of NOK 25.75 ($3.763/€2.934) per kilo.
Expectations for the third quarter are for a price of NOK 25.50
