IntraFish talked to several players Friday, and they all spoke of a strong price increases.
“I don’t like the situation, there is a lack of fish and, unfortunately, that leads to a strong rise in prices. It is vacation and many companies close their slaughter houses. Then there is too little fish,” Managing Director Trond Aune of Gaia Seafood told IntraFish.
He said he thinks there is not so much choice in relation to the price increases. “There is NOK 3 to NOK 4 (€0.33/$0.46)
