Norwegian salmon prices will make a leap for Easter, jumping by around NOK 5 (€0.61/$0.84) next week due to a drop in harvest before the holiday.
Buyers only concentrate on Easter purchases now, and are the only ones buying at the moment, one exporter told IntraFish.
Six different players we talked to this Friday marked salmon prices at around NOK 48 (€5.80/$8.10) to NOK 49 (€5.90/$8.20) per kilo to farmers for fish bigger than 3 kg.
Some have also been paid more than NOK 50 (€6.10/$8.40)
