Earlier this week, IntraFish reported that Norway’s salmon exports to the United States had fallen by 41 percent so far this year.
And the United States are not the only market to have experienced such a drop. Exports to France, Poland and Denmark also fell. There, however, the drop was much smaller, with drops ranging from 2.4 percent to 10 percent. (See table here).
Two markets even defied the trend: exports to Spain and Russia rose in volume so far this year, by 0.6
